From Wind to Watts: Delivering Renewable Energy Across Norway

Nordland, Leirfjord, og Vefsn

Toven

Toven is a mountainous area located in Nordland County between Vefsnfjord and Ranfjord. The area is vast, with several mountain peaks ranging from around 600 metres above sea level to the highest peak at 995 metres above sea level. The area is characterised by gentle, bare mountain areas with some valleys where there is more vegetation. Its central location between the industrial towns of Mo i Rana and Mosjøen, as well as the coastal town of Sandnessjøen, makes the project favourable for infrastructure and development projects. The power plant will be located in close proximity to the most important industrial establishments in Northern Norway. National and European roads, railways, airports and ports are located in the immediate vicinity of the project.

Nordland, Hattfjelldal, Hjartfjellet

Hjartfjellet part of Hattfjelldal project

Hjartfjellet is located in the far north of Hattfjelldal municipality and borders Hemnes municipality. To the east, the mountain borders Sweden and to the west is Røssvatnet. Hjartfjelltinden is the highest point with its 1458 meters above sea level. The areas around the mountain are sparsely populated and with relatively little activity.

Nordland, Hattfjelldal, Vågfjellet

Vågfjellet part of Hattfjelldal project

Vågfjellet is located south of the Norway-Sweden border road and southeast of Røssvatnet towards Sweden. The mountain is a neighbor to Hatten in the south, which has given Hattfjelldal municipality its name. To the north lies Krutfjellet. The terrain is distinctly mountainous and has gentle mountain areas that extend up to 1049 meters above sea level.

Krutfjellet part of Hattfjelldal project

Krutfjellet is located in Hattfjelldal municipality in Nordland county. The mountain area stretches from Norway's second largest lake, Røssvatnet, to the Swedish border. To the south, the area is bordered by the main road between Norway and Sweden. To the west, the mountain areas are alpine and extend up to the highest peak at 1405 metres above sea level. To the east, the areas are lower and transition into birch forest and gentler terrain.

About the Process

We manage every phase of the wind power lifecycle, from site analysis and permitting to construction and long-term operation. Local collaboration with all stakeholders ensures that each wind power plant is efficient and delivers clean energy, stimulating local business opportunities, and environmental benefits. Through wind power, we aim to contribute to climate improvement while supporting the development of new jobs and industries. We believe the answer is in the wind.
